just secured ticket for tonight. surprised how low prices are in StubHub rn. first time at UBS, lets ride.
I’m sure ticket sales have a lot to do with who the opener is to some extent. Last night had Turnstile whom are on a course to be as big as MCR. Soul Glo are also on Epitaph and gaining a lot of popularity.
On my way to Long Island. Pretty annoyed that I paid almost $100 on nosebleed seats and they’re less than half the cost now. But I think as the first official concert season at this venue, they got a little too ambitious with the bookings. Aside from UFC and Harry Styles everything has been selling poorly at UBS.
Long Island definitely could’ve benefited from a better opener. My little bro can’t get over that we missed Turnstile by a day. Still gonna be a great show but I ain’t calling my Uber for a while
Show was awesome but UBS has to be the shittiest sounding venue I’ve ever been to. We were in the 300 sections and the sound barely traveled up there, I honestly couldn’t make out a single word said. About 6 songs in we snuck down to seats next to the stage and it was infinitely better
had to ask people next to us if we were crazy cause we felt the same way. could not tell if it was the mix or the acoustics it was so drowned out
yeah I had a great time at the Raleigh show Friday but goddamn the sound was absolute ass. Soul Glo in particular got brutalized by it, there were times I had to squint to figure out what they were even playing. the videos I have of MCR sound better coming through my phone than they did in the venue. I’m not sure how much of it was on the folks running sound or just inherent to the venue but it was unfortunate, even if it didn’t totally ruin the whole experience. every band absolutely killed it tho regardless and although I already really dug them going in, I def came out an even bigger Turnstile fan, and I gotta say despite the sound issues they really felt natural in an arena setting. I can easily see why they’ve blown up how they have (and why they’ll continue to do so). I have no complaints about MCR other than I really wish we had gotten Venom, but otherwise really it was pretty magical to witness them do their thing in the year 2022. they all seemed to be having the times of their lives, Ray especially was just all smiles the whole time. anyway, this weekend was my partner and I’s second anniversary, and yesterday we ended up getting tattoos to further celebrate and they got one with Foundations of Decay lyrics which I think is awesome and figured I would share.
For the twenty one pilots show at UBS earlier this week, GA pit was as low as $20 and upper level seats were going for $4 on showday on Stubhub They played Cancer in Europe but this was the first time in the US. So glad you had a good time!!
