Considering this is their first tour in so long and SO many people never saw them the first time, I understand how it can be disappointing.
Would have liked to see it because that may have been the only time in my life I’ll get to see MCR but yeah Helena probably wouldn’t be top…15? songs for me
Camped overnight Friday night for this, was #10 in line and was barricade right between Gerard and Ray. Absolutely phenomenal show, not just one of the best I've seen from them but one of the best of all time. Can't believe they broke out some of those deep cuts, but also got Bulletproof Heart which is one of my favorite MCR songs. Everyone in the band was on fire.
im seeing them September 21 at Prudential and then on the 23rd at Firefly. I wonder if they'll significantly change up their setlist for a festival appearance as opposed to the regular tour set. either way, after nearly (3) **three** years of waiting, it will be nice to see them twice in a week.
They're playing Cinci on Wednesday. It's a 4 hour drive & I'm seeing Turnstile again in October. I haven't been following this thread much. Do we anticipate MCR touring more in 2023, or is this it? All the other surrounding dates I'm not able to make.
This is it forever. After this they go back in the vault. A time capsule, so they can save future generations. ... ... ... Sorry, I'm in an odd mood.
During the European tour Gerard said he wants to do it again before he turns 50. Which to me, sounds like they will do it again, but makes me doubtful for MCR really ever being an active band again.
Haven't seen them since 2005 so Ive never seen any Black Parade or DD tracks live. Its simply impossible for them to play all the songs I want to hear but I appreciate that they're playing deep cuts and demos and rare tracks.
I love how quickly we've gone from "they're definitely putting out an album" to "they're never touring again".
Seems they're having more fun than they used to touring and I'm sure once all is said and done and they see the money this tour alone brought in... Yeah I don't see them going anywhere for a bit
Frank just said recently they're not interested in just getting back together once for a nostalgia tour, they want to be a band again. I don't think they're going to start putting out an album and doing a world tour every couple of years but I also don't think they're back for a single tour and then breaking up again. I'm still hoping for/expecting an album after the reunion tour. Whether it happens straight away or takes a while I have no idea but I just don't see them wanting to become a band who just tours the hits every few years.
