Lol that interview with Gerard saying kick drums should sound like cardboard is funny because my first thought was that it sounded like paper crunching. It does sound better in headphones than in my car.

I’m not well versed in music and definitely not drum patterns, but I LOVE that “boom boom - tap tap” pattern in the chorus. Song obviously rules, production isn’t my favorite but I can get over it. Whatever gets these guys hyped to write more songs is a-okay with me.

EDIT: the production is like a not quite as bad version of the production on letlive.’s The Blackest Beautiful.

 

I hope whatever post @SpyKi eventually makes is the most liked of the week in the liner notes

 

As a fan more of their more Black Parade style, even I'm loving this.

I can get behind the smashing pumpkins comparisons because I’ve always felt a heavy Corgan influence in most of MCRs music.

 

That was everything I hoped it would be.

omg..... what a comeback!!! was not expecting this stylistic choice at all but i really love it! after watching some of the live clips and hearing how much gerard's scream has improved, i was wondering if we would get some heavier songs, and this did not disappoint at all! so exciting, i can't believe they came back with an EPIC song like this!

 

I wish my habits were as healthy as @SpyKi and I was in bed and/or offline by 11 PM local time even a single time ever
