I got it from Reddit a few days after I posted it! And surprisingly the whole set is up on Youtube and hasn't been taken down by the BBC (yet). I'm so happy to finally see the full set. This is my favorite performance from them. I've watched the shortened version so many times over the past 9 years. Having the missing songs now is amazing.
I just want a choir / organ version of Helena from that Summoning short film. That shit gave me goosebumps.
If I knew MCR was into Muse it would have blown my mind as a kid. Easily my two favorite bands at the time
Muse opened up for MCR on the 2nd US leg of their Black Parade Tour (May-June ish of 2007), and then MCR opened for Muse at Wembley stadium that fall!
I've never gotten into Muse but I know how much people love them. My show on The Black Parade Tour was on the first leg, when Rise Against opened, which was an amazing lineup for me.
I agree but I'm biased lol. I've been such a big fan for so long, and I delight in seeing them grow old, especially being familiar with the personal struggles they've had. Really makes gray hairs feel like an accomplishment and boy am I proud.
Somehow I miss them more rightnow that they're "back" than I did when they were "gone". I really hope they do *something* soon. A live stream, new music, release some more demos/unreleased material, post some old live sets.
ikr, all that hype for it to disappear for the whole year. At least before they got back together I had no hope. Now I'm dying for anything new.
New interview with Gerard done by Jim Adkins from Jimmy Eat World for his podcast Pass Through Frequencies
Wait does he actually talk about "the band" in that? Also, does the man only own one shirt? Or perhaps he has a closet full of all the same shirt.
