I haven’t been following along very closely, so my apologies. But is new music expected?

 

DD is a good gym album. No other MCR album has ever gotten gym play from me tbh, not that I don't love the other albums more. Gym album is a very specific category to me

honestly you couldn't catch me ever listening to this in the gym. i did pump to RATM s/t yesterday though and it ripped.

 

I once washed the dishes to Billy Talent and got more water on myself than the dishes.

Speaking of Coachella, sources close to the situation say the reason My Chemical Romance, who were initially touted as headliners of the festival, will not be appearing is that the late-breaking addition of Frank Ocean caused them to be bumped from the top line of the poster. Rumor is that the band will get full compensation, and that the producers are eating the $4-5m guarantee.

I think in the end, backing out of Coachella was a smart move considering what they accomplished yesterday.

Summertime is such a good fucking song. The feelings that run through my body when I listen to that song. The light synth in the background, the lyrics of the chorus, the “don’t walk awayyyyy” in the last chorus. And the line in the second verse - “Turn my headphones up real loud / I don’t think I need them now / ‘cause you stop the noise”

thoughts on The Light Behind your eyes??

I was quoting it earlier. Damn it could be taken as a sad song, but I take it as one of hope. I just think it's beautiful, lyrically and musically.

 

So beautiful. I love that the second half is so heavy compared to the first half. I really hope they play this one live.

 

so yesterday i got pit for st paul and today i was cooking and flames shot up and burnt my hands more specifically my entire thumb. You win you lose!

 

I actually don't care for the light behind your eyes...I know it tends to be a fan favorite but that one and fake your death do nothing for me

MCR don't have bad songs as far as I'm concerned but if ever there were contenders, it's those two imo

 

We Don't Need Another Song About California is the closest they've ever come to a weak song.

I also don't really like the CW version of The World is Ugly much.
