Can't believe I just read like 30plus pages! Lol Yeah, I didn't even try for tickets and glad I didn't go through that headache. Still, it would have been super cool to see them at least once in my lifetime. Ah well! As I said before, I met Frank. That was cool.
Jesus... watching the black parade live in Mexico show is just so exciting/brings back memories. It's actually amazing that bands don't play their whole album when it comes out like what they did with that tour. I love it.... play the whole album that the tour is all about, then do a best of second half. I know I'll never meet them again, but man was I stoked to meet them at Warped 04 with practically no line at their meet and greet.
FYI to everyone: These are not the only tour dates. They will continue touring after this round of dates and you will eventually be able to see them for much cheaper. See: Blink-182, Fall Out Boy
I don't think that MCR think of their work in the same way Blink or FOB do. I'm not quite as familiar with Blink's career trajectory but FOB, both pre and post hiatus, managed to complete albums on a fairly regular basis, while the sheer amount of theatrics that went into each MCR album prevented them from keeping up that kind of pace. I'm not saying I don't agree that they'll tour again, but I'm not quite as convinced and I don't think that any band's career (except maybe Smashing Pumpkins?) can be considered as similar to MCR's.
Just listened to Ghost of You 4 times in a row - that will be the one song I definitely cry to the video kills me every time I have such a close relationship with my brother and this song always makes me think of him
This isn’t the thread for Bucks and Packers takes that won’t hold up well in three months what are you doing here
I meant packers. I edited my post because I’m a coward The results of my heat check were that I’m not in fact hot
lol watching the NJ portion of the BP tour DVD and he just mentioned Kristen getting crushed at the Maxwell show.
I literally just want How I Disappear and Famous Last Words and anything else will be fucking money for Boston.
Was thinking about this when they announced the big tour. A smaller market club tour in like 5000 or less cap rooms would be the most fun way to see them. Based on how this just sold though they would not really have any good reason to do that for a good while
They seem way happier in club videos than arena videos... yeah arenas pay the bills, but going back to your roots, even for just 1-3 months seems like it could be a possibility if they know they'll go back to the money makers in a bit, especially if they have a new album to follow.
Just looked at My Chemical Romance ticket from 2005 when Alkaline Trio and Reggie and the Full Effect opened. Floor ticket was $25 plus >$7 in fees. This was an arena tour as well. What a time haha
