I really, really hope they have a big production on this tour. I'm afraid it's going to be pretty bare bones.
I’m only here to radicalize some Killjoys against capitalism. (But also lol at the post thinking Gerard Fucking Way needs money.)
Oh, I mostly assumed you were just now dropping into this thread because you were stuck in a ticket queue for the past several hours
This is the first I’m hearing of the dynamic pricing shit and that’s pretty scummy even for a gigantic mega Corporation
It's hard to not be disappointed about the prices. It's disgusting and wrong, no two ways about it. Hopefully the band take a stand against this in the future.
I bought tickets to two of their Milton Keynes stadium shows in June. The VIP ticket I bought with early entry and exclusive merch was less than most tickets for this tour. That came to about $225. The regular GA ticket for the other show was about $120 total in US dollars. When this tour was announced, I debated selling my UK tickets and was just gonna focus on going to shows here, but with the prices and how fucking hard it was to get any tickets in search, I'm re-reconsidering my decision.
The top Twitter moment today was everyone being pissed off at Ticketmaster, sooooo My Chemical Romance fans are *not okay* with Ticketmaster's rollout of tour tickets
The only way Ticketmaster is ever going to care is if people stop buying tickets through them or some law gets passed and both are unlikely to happen. They made a ton of money today and with MCR adding extra shows they’ll continue to make a ton of money.
this is a separate issue, for sure. resale market is out of control and ticketmaster fees are absurd. neither of those are the responsibility of the band itself and the people in this thread blaming them for the prices are dumb as a boot.
I’m very happy for them but damn those replies are brutal. I’m not sure what more they could’ve done at this point to ensure people (not scammers) got tickets and everyone’s harping on them like it’s their fault. The website for Philly crashed before tickets even went on sale.
