I honestly have to imagine this reaction is better than they could've even imagined. Like I knew this was gonna be big, but selling arenas all over instantly and 3 nights at a stadium is next level. And I think every one of these arenas could add a second night and do it again. Didn't get my ticket yet to Detroit yet, but like.. I will be there so I'm not trying to be too stressed just yet.
I guess the 'benefit' of not getting tickets is I now have more cash to throw at the inevitable Hayley Williams tour! Silver lining, I guess?
Ah I don't know how I missed that! Thanks. Surprised NY isn't sold out. LA isn't up yet though right?
Shit that actually went by faster than I thought and I got lower level tickets which I’m shocked. These prices are insanity though. Definitely a lot different when I saw them in 2004 for $30
I gotta be honest, I am actually surprised how crazy fast this tour is selling. Obviously they are a big band, but I don't think they could have sold like this any time during their original run as a band
Def going to be late for work though the train I normally take was right during the thick of getting the tickets I couldn’t risk it. Just gonna tell my boss I was buying mcr tickets he will understand (he won’t)
One of my dad's clients is the Xfinity live center, he may be able to pull strings for me for the Philly show.
people were literally in here saying they had holds for other shows and people were still thinking that was it lol
That was reasonable in my eyes because of the intimacy of the venue. For the tour, they better have some crazy stage production otherwise these prices were straight robbery.
the band had a fucking 15 minute short film to announce concert dates - of course the stage production is going to be fucking wild.
and you know what I don't begrudge any band charging these type of prices. get that paper while you can.
I feel like anytime the artist gets blamed for the prices, we're losing sight of the true enemy which is ticketmaster. I'm not saying MCR is not making bank, but TM is the ones making it truly unaffordable
It's the venues, too. NHL/NBA arenas are very expensive to rent and outfit for a concert. Moreso than the major amphitheaters.
