Yeah I'm currently having a crisis on what I'll want to buy for this show, especially as I've gotten so used to going to shows with tamer crowds in more recent years.
Really bummed that Portland isn't on here, but I get it. I also wouldn't be surprised if there aren't more shows added as time goes on. Never saw them before they went on hiatus, and I've already spent a ton on other tours for the year. Tacoma is a long drive, especially in rush hour. I'd most certainly have to take a day off work. Still up in the air on this one.
mmmm i wouldn't say it's standard - but the reunion and seeming exclusivity of the shows (we don't currently know if this is it or not) definitely aids the price jump.
I don’t have a big disposable income right now, but I’m going to try to get a ticket for my partner and myself. Detroit is the best option for me
All these shows when I’m supposed to be saving money for Coachella is really not tight but I will be at this show
there's no way we won't be getting new music *in some form* this year. makes no sense to introduce so many concepts, easter eggs, and a universe of mythology for a tour. there was literally a "post credits" in the short film.
I feel like all the cities they skipped they will hit up next year on a summer tour plus a few they are hitting in the fall
Crazy that by the time I see them it will have been almost an entire year since they announced their reunion
26 pages?! Oh no! So we've gotten the tour announcement. Now we wait till Friday to get tickets, or are some people getting them early?
I assume unless they start releasing new music that charts well, they'll start playing BMTH/ADTR-sized venues as a legacy band. Otherwise, they can adopt the Fall Out Boy model of dropping a radio single ever year or so that can get them in 70% fillled arenas whenever they want. Once the hype dies down at least.
Me six months ago: I'll travel anywhere in the country to see mcr when they play shows again!! Me now: ew, Tacoma
