    I think they had maybe planned to do festivals early on but after the big reaction to the reunion, they changed course and are just doing headlining shows in the US.

    Chicago being on that list tells me they’ll do a headlining show (Allstate or United) and NOT Lolla or Riot Fest.

    Aftershock (huge rock festival in Sacramento) just posted MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT TOMORROW. Aftershock hasn't announced their lineup yet but announced Metallica is headlining Fri and Sunday months ago. I haven't seen anyone speculate it but I'm pretty sure certain that MCR will headline Sat based off the info from this thread that dates are being announced tomorrow and Sacramento is one of the dates.

    Gonna have to set a bathroom break alarm at work tomorrow for this. I actually work in the ticketing department of a very famous concert venue and usually we have a lot of downtime but we’ve just announced the beginning of our subscription season so phones might be busy tomorrow like they were today. Don’t think MCR would ever play here but their collaborator Liza Minelli sure has.
