That's the part people have been overlooking though, we already have NEW MCR MUSIC which is fucking crazy. But it definitely points to an album being in the pipeline.

 

But Shazam is picking up the song from Apple Music here, right? It implies there will be some sort of official release uploaded to streaming platforms.

I do not believe that is true

 

The screenshot shows Apple Music, but maybe I’m wrong. I know Shazam has leaked song titles/listings before they are officially live on streaming in the past.

Ok, I had the horrible thought of what if they add a Friday show too because my body will not enjoy 4 days in a row of shows but Frank just posted the announcement for Milton Keynes with "third and final" in the caption so I can rest easier now.

To add fuel to the Shazam fire, people are saying the Shazam source is listed as Apple Music? So it’s on there somehow, just not available to stream?

I’m not totally sure how it works. But in any case, it indicates it’s an actual track to be released.

 

All I am saying about Shazam is that the day the video came out, it was already Shazam-able, so I am not taking this as any sort of new info

The way that Shazam works is that it analyzes the audio the phone records and tries to match it to a song on Apple Music & Google Play.

So the fact that it anazlyzed The Offering's audio and flagged a match on Apple Music makes it seem like it found a matching song in the database that hasn't been released yet. There is a precedent for this happening to songs that had snippets released on social media prior to the release.

HOWEVER, Apple Music also posts videos & artist content, so it could just have matched the video to itself.

 

Ngl I kind of want to buy a ticket and fly to Dublin to see them hah. Ireland is my favorite place I've ever traveled to
