Some things I’ve seen between twitter and Reddit. I’m sure some of all of this will get taken down soon. From Kristian Mercado on Instagram, somebody (possibly director) who has some interesting captions. “The mysterious summoning of MCR” “Not a spoiler, but this is just a taste” Also, from Danny Durr on Instagram, a shot that probably definitely is also MCR related, from something we haven’t seen yet. EDIT: also one of the posts says #musicvideolife and Kristian’s story right now says “part 1 just dropped” in regards to the video posted yesterday. I would love this to be a FOB Youngblood Chronicles situation!
Milton Keynes isn't great, but it's also not THAT terrible. However if it being held there is enough to put people off, good. More chance I might get tickets aha.
It's just a bit soulless. It's very grid like and open, as opposed to more characteristically British towns, this feels more American. It's basically just a ton of housing estates and a massive shopping centre and some bars. I wouldn't want to live there but it's good to shop there and I honestly I don't think it's that bad, it's just kind of one of them places that is funny to mock.
Isn't Milton Keynes that giant venue that Green Day plays in their Bullet in a Bible concert movie? It looks like there's like 100,000 people there
That's the MK National Bowl, which is hosting Knotfest just after this. My Chem are playing the football stadium (which is actually not that big compared to many other stadiums).
Alright! I don't see why the town's atmosphere should matter in this case. Unless you choose to stay the night there or something, haha. I'm guessing that almost everyone will be heading back to London after the concert.
It’s just not ideal. It’s not in London for a start, so it’s intrinsically more of a ball ache to get to. Certainly not the sort of place I can hope to get a train back from on the night, which rules it out for me. It’s just not the done thing to play a show near London instead of actually in London.
Also, worth noting that I also hate MK Dons (the team who play at Stadium MK) as they essentially “stole” Wimbledon FC. Kinda like if a franchise moved city in America, but in America that’s actually a thing, whereas in England it’s not. So yeah, fuck them.
The Light Behind Your Eyes is such a good song, damn. Gives me chills, such a good buildup toward the end
I did not expect to see Wimbledon support/MK Dons slander in the MCR thread, but I am h e r e for it.
That'd be sweet, I feel like it kinda fits in with the vibe of the latest "An Offering" video with the acoustic guitar and orchestra sound
I was a childhood Wimbledon fan, and can vividly remember them getting relegated from the Prem, and all that followed. Still livid.
