I got a rad MCR Return tee and Danger Days striped tee at Hot Topic the other day and I love them so much. Somehow I lost all the MCR clothing I accumulated over the years so I'm happy to have some again.

Someone made a video of the reunion show and merged the audio and video of a bunch of different recordings, and the audio sounds way better because of it, especially during The Kids From Yesterday

 

Lots of sources have confirmed them as playing Coachella. The main acts are almost always leaked in the weeks leading up to release.

 

I need to know why exactly I would miss MCR and Senses Fail at Toad's Place. I need a good explanation lol

this sounds amazing! although they are playing in a lower tuning, gerard has some really great moments vocally. like, holy crap he went all out in "Sleep", that was awesome! and you can tell they really practiced a lot, they sound super solid. like, possibly better than ever!

 

I finally read Not The Life It Seems this week and I'm so much more shocked/grateful that they would tour again.

 

Coachella lineup out...no MCR

 

I'm honestly baffled. I was so sold on the rumors. And I assumed there was no tour announcement because of Coachella, so now I'm really thrown off.

 

The August/September rumored tour isn’t said to be announced for a few more weeks.

 

I'm putting no faith in anything I read on this thread anymore, lmao.

 

but weren't those tour announcement rumors predicated on the coachella rumors? that was my understanding anyway. no reason to wait this long after the reunion show to announce a tour unless you were under a contract with coachella, right?

To be fair, this went way beyond the thread. There were music outlets reporting the same thing.

It’s also not extremely uncommon for bands to drop the festival.

i don't think so, there seemed to have been other sources on the reunion. like stuff a member from the maine said that had nothing to do with coachella.

The original source of the reunion was a poster on a festival forum who said they’d be announcing their return in 24 hours (that was correct) and playing Coachella (that was seemingly wrong)

 

I feel like the problem is that conflicting rumors start based on where things are at. My guess is My Chem was in talks for Coachella at one point and that info spread very fast, then it did not end up working out for whatever reason.
