I think if "The World is Ugly" was the way it was live and they had a studio version of "Someone Out There Still Loves You" on there I'd prefer CW to Danger Days. As they are, Danger Days takes it for me. Still some incredible songs on CW.
I just noticed when Gerard says "thought you was Batman" in "NA NA NA", the backing vocals do the " na na na na na" like in the old batman tv show theme. That's cute as fuck holy shit. I fucking love this band been listening a lot lately
I never even noticed! But last night I was randomly thinking about how it's a crime that Na Na Na isn't in all the movie soundtracks
How is Gerard almost 40? Dude looks late 20's at most. I can only dream to look as good as him at that age. Haha
I'm vaguely new to the band, girlfriend got me into them a little bit about a year ago. Haha I had no idea he was that old. But if he's a vampire, it makes sense..
Gerard getting successful at a bit of an older age was always one of my fave things. Not that he was the crypt keeper or anything but it gives hope that you can kinda get your life together and do awesome things.
Right? I hate those lil brats that hit it big at 17. Im bitter! I like thinking that maybe I can have a ridiculously awesome career change one day and my whole life will be different and I'll get to do what I love all the time and not worry about money #goals
Saaaame. I've put all my eggs into one basket (music) for as long as I've been able to think about a career. I wish I could've been passionate about other things growing up, but there's a lot of reasons that didn't happen lol. Maybe someday I'll find something else to focus on, but for now I'm just really hoping I can find a way to make a name for myself in the music world.
I was always like "Gerard only started MCR when he was like 25, I have time to do shit." Now I'm 25 and I just feel bad.
It's okay guys, didn't he not even know how to write a song or sing and could only play guitar a little bit when he started MCR?
