Also, it's worth noting that the songs bands play during soundcheck aren't necessarily indicative of the songs they'll play in the main set. Bands might mess around by rehearsing with songs they don't play often just to break up the monotony of playing the same songs every night. I overheard ADTR playing 'Justified' before my Degenerates Tour stop, but they didn't play that song that night. I overheard Waterparks play 'Telephone' inside the venue, even though they've NEVER played that song.
That is obvious...however it looks as though they played an entire rehearsal show, with an encore and everything.
Alas, no. Geoff cock teased everyone though. And he said at the start this was meant to be a secret warmup show, but he could just have been referring to Thursday as it was originally posted as a Jueves show
That's interesting. I bet it did influence their decision. That, Frank getting into that accident in Australia late 2016, and the election, I'm guessing, were all factors for them.
Same. I just want to see how they perform and listen to some crappy recordings to get myself amped up for when they finally announce a US tour I hope they play NH as well as Boston because I'm sure a Boston show would sell out fastt. Still so weird to me that they started The Black Parade world tour in Manchester, NH of all places
Yeah I was maybe going to go to a friend's show tonight in NY but I think I'm actually going to just stay in and follow all the live streams instead.
In this monologue, theres an old man wearing a MCR tshirt playing the 91 year old grandpa who just graduated high school. 3:35 in.
If people in this thread could please stop saying Geoff “cock teased” you, that’d be really cool. It’s just super weird and uncomfortable to keep reading here. Thanks.
You better post a huge essay on how it goes, what it’s played, and what the band says during the show
Last night was an absolute blast despite no MyChem appearance. I've always enjoyed Thursday but the show last night was exactly the kind of set list I wanted and my friend basically pulled me into the pit for the whole show, it was wild and fun. PLUS I got to meet @AWasteOfATime and @DickyCullz so it was far from a loss
Lucky fans in line, the blanket stuff is a nice treat. They had to be so stoked. December 13th, 2003, I waited in the freezing NYC cold snow and rain for like 8-10 hours to see MCR open for Mindless Self Indulgence at Irving Plaza. The MSI fans were psychotic, but took my friend and I in under their tarp for warmth and dryness, which they called "Tarp Town." They elected a mayor and representatives (???) but then exiled us from Tarp Town when they found out we were MCR fans. What an incredibly weird show. MSI fans were super hostile and someone threw a plastic bag full of shit on stage.
