I guess the way they did it in Chicago was someone was the line leader and gave out wristbands and you got to leave for a while but had to be back for certain check ins and if you missed too many of them your place in line would be gone. It all seems ridiculous and excessive to me honestly.
I assume everyone is there in groups, and I think everyone sorta gets to know the people around them in line so they’d probably know if someone was actually a line cutter. Edit: or what @ItsAndrew said.
Everyone makes friends in line, it becomes a little community. Self-care is a priority so people are encouraged to grab food, go to the restroom, go to the store, and take care of other responsibilities within reason. No one would get mad about "line cutters" anyways, even if they were legitimate cause the little emo kids who can afford to skip school for this shit are too shy to yell at anyone about it, lmao. Routine concertgoers become a close-knit community, so it's usually fine.
I’m in line at the Shrine. #39 in line. There are porta potties in the parking lot and lots of restaurants and stores nearby. MCR was soundchecking earlier and then came out to hand blankets to those in line. We were at the store down the street and just missed them. No worries though. We’re here and this is HAPPENING.
I need to get into Thursday one of these days. I tried listening to a couple of their songs like 10+ years ago and it wasn't for me at the time
Thursday is great. I heard Tomorrow I'll Be You on a compilation when I was like 12 and they're one of not too many bands that have held up since then.
I know! Crazy. Part of me hopes they've been working on music if it's been that long. There has to be more to those little symbols they posted! I really hope they play a new song and give us news on new music or something.
My Chemical Romance soundcheck hints at potential reunion setlist Spoilers, obviously. Gotta say, that is not anywhere near the type of setlist I expected.
I was just scrolling through MCR's twitter account and before their reunion announcement, their last tweet (other than two tweets promoting Frank) was on July 20, 2017, which is the day Chester Bennington died. Seeing as they posted today they started getting together in 2017, I wonder if Chester's untimely death had anything to do with them starting to work together again.
they're about to fuck around and open their comeback show with "S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W" and it's gonna goddamn rule
My guess is they'll open with Helena, as it the last song they played live at their last show in 2012
So, if they've been working together since 2017, is it safe to assume they have an album written/recorded?
