Full Collapse and Three Cheers were my most listened to albums the summer I graduated 8th grade.

Yeah idk, for me, I've heard Helena so much that I skip it sometimes, and I'm Not Okay just doesn't fit in with the rest of the album so I'm not always into hearing it compared to the rest of the album. It's really pop-punk, which I'm cool with and enjoy, but not necessarily the vibe I'm looking for when I put on MCR if that makes sense

 

I'm Not Okay is an anthem and one of the best songs ever written. I would never skip it.

I usually skip Jetset. Don’t care for that track tbh.

 

Lol idk, there are a bunch of pop punk bands from then who were doing the same sort of thing. That song sets them apart from other bands the very least out of the rest of their music imo

Although that reminds me, when I was younger around the time Black Parade came out I would intentionally not listen to Blood alot of the time because it creeped me out lmao

 

I feel like around the time three cheers came out it was a "fun fact" that I'm not okay almost didn't make the record but I don't remember well

SO.... I just found out there were 2 other bsides to Black Parade besides "Heaven Help Us"... "My Way Home Is Through You" and "Kill All Your Friends" ... Holy shit this feels like I dun goofed myself into basically getting new songs on the reunion so far because of a deepdive.

I revisited Danger Days recently and while I always liked Na Na Na and Destroya I also have been enjoying Party Poison and Vampire Money more lately. Then there’s Save Yourself which totally went over my head all these last listens cause damn that’s a good one too.

Also gave Conventional Weapons another try and totally dig it more. Boy Division is my absolute fav on there, top notch MCR. Burn Bright is another good one.

 

Seeing Kids From Yesterday live on the Blink tour 2011 was what made that record click for me and the song my favorite from that record.

AMBULANCE, Boy Division and Gun are my top from Conventional Weapons, easily.

 

Listening to Frank Iero's album from this year for the first time

His singing voice REALLY sounds like Rivers Cuomo sometimes

It's a super solid album btw, maybe his strongest
