Just finished Three Cheers and this is definitely my preferred album right now of the two I've listened to so far. Now onto Danger Days
It's basically the sequel to the final track on Bullets. That song has two lovers die in a gunfight and then on Revenge the guy ends up dead, finds out his girlfriend or whatever is still alive, and makes a deal with the devil that he can come back to life if he brings him the souls of 1000 evil men, ha.
Jesus lol I didn't know any of that. That also makes me think I should give Bullets a relisten....buttt it's not on Apple Music. Shit.
Yeah, even the insert of the CD has references to it, they wanted to make some of it seem like promotion for an old horror film or something, ha. Bullets to me feels like a bunch of old films as songs. Early Sunsets is based on Dawn of the Dead, obviously there's Vampires, a lot of the songs just paint such vivid imagery for me with the lyrics and the music works so well with them. Drowning Lessons and This is the Best Day Ever are great at that too.
I doubt I'm gonna like it any more than I did back in the day, but I'll get my hands on it somehow and listen again.
Danger Days is cool so far. I'm only on SING right now. I remember bits and pieces of these songs back when I listened to some of this album in 2010/2011. Bulletproof Heart is great.
Somebody here make it to my hopeful wedding some day in the future and play Planetary GO. If anyone asks, tell them you know Deathco. I'll ensure that they understand.
