Late to the discussion but I have some thoughts:

I think my top MCR songs are:
    sleep
    Ghost of you
    Disenchanted
    Thank you for the venom
    Helena

agree with sophos that I think a huge reason I can’t get into DD is the aesthetic. So it had that working against it and then the songs just don’t do anything for me.

only hesitant alien song I could get into was the single

Sorry if this has already been discussed but how’d they do touring-wise on DD? I remember being surprised at how big their breakup was bc I assumed DD took all the wind out of their sails and assumed DD sales were riding on TBP’s success, as follow ups often do. Even now I wonder how many casual fans would be into new music. Idk, I worry they could run into a nostalgia act problem if they returned full time at some point.

All that negativity aside I love this band and I’m glad their back in some capacity

Lmao the best part is that you really only need to be a fan of one of the bands to do well at that

agreed. I'd throw in The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway too. but Mellon Collie is the most diverse while staying the most shockingly consistent that I've ever heard

the bridge isn't as good in this setting imo but otherwise I really love a lot of the changes Gerard made to the vocal melody

First show back from a former festival headliner? I reckon they could pull that off

I just hope they announce a UK date that isn't Download or Reading/Leeds. Really don't fancy going to a festival. I love seeing their names on festival lineups though, feels good.

Give us an MCR/JEW show, that would be sick.

If the UK date is June next year i can see them getting added to Download Festival as that is in the midlands and early June.

I have absolutely zero desire to ever go to Reading or Download but they might be the only band that could make me go
