Every time I revisit DD, I’m reminded that it’s my favorite album by them, but I get why it isn’t everyone’s thing.
Why are people actually paying $1,000+ for tickets to the show when it's basically been confirmed they are touring next year? Do people not know financial responsibility or what?
If I had to guess it’s because the tour next year hasn’t been officially announced and not everyone scouts the internet like us for info. I’ve seen many people not believing they’re touring next year. Even then 1000 is still ridiculous but that’s my guess
They are actually paying $2,000+ since AXS only lets people buy 2 tickets now instead of just one. Aside from very important things in life like education, transportation, housing, medical bills, etc. nothing is worth $2,000+, except vacations and weddings for some people.
This AXS ticket stuff happened with the recent TOOL tour, every show basically "sold out" immediately and was on the Premium/reseller prices of HUNDREDS more. I can't speak for cities outside LA but the Staples Center gigs had TONS of tickets at regular price available the week of the shows. AXS is jacked up
Could see them doing Reading and Leeds in August followed by those rumoured September dates for the UK then.
There’s a post in the riot fest tour that uk dates are false and they are actually in June and the us dates are in September
The post in the riot fest thread say MCR is likely playing an arena show in either Coventry or Milton-Keynes, UK, June 2020. More information to come in the next week or so.
Looks like they are over seas in March with what’s being posted on Twitter so that’s either a January February us tour or a summer/fall us tour
So are we thinking they are playing NBA arenas or the smaller arenas that fit ~6,000-10,000? I'm assuming the former but I figured others might have a better idea.
My guess is a cross between the both I mean Chicago they could play the Uc or Allstate and sell it out. No way they do uic or the new stadium where DePaul plays. Chicago will be 1 or 2 days at one of the Uc or Allstate. If it’s summer it will prolly be Tinley I think charter one or whatever it’s called is too small unless they are on either Lolla or riot fest
I’m really nervous whatever dates they do near me in the US are gonna conflict with Scamp & Bonaroo. I’ll absolutely have to go with MCR but the two fests are definitely what all my friends are gonna choose
