As someone who's directed some music videos and edits video for a living, the Famous Last Words video is one of the greatest performance music videos I've seen. Gerard's performance is out of the world. Can't stop rewatching it now that they've back.
Isn't it partly in due to the pain Gerard was suffering from a toothache? I mean, I believe we mentioned Bob's burns in this thread, but not Gerard's troubles.
If I remember correctly on either reddit or twitter Gerard stayed that the song was actually going to be titled “Someone Out There Loves You” which is totally badass. The fan base just started calling it stay.
just hit play. not sure if it's the deluxe or not. 14 tracks. that's all i found on spotify (without searching too hard haha.)
listened to DD and Bullets yesterday - i really just dont think DD is for me, it felt like a struggle to get all the way through, even though there are a few really great tracks on there (lookin' at you SCARECROW). Bullets on the other hand, clicked a little different for me, i really liked it, more than i had in the past.
Really wish we could get an interview with them to get some kind of word on new music. Have they been working on any, or they starting to work, etc.
I've been listening to the band a lot the last few days and I think I'd go Three cheers > Bullets > TBP > CW > DD I still can't get into most of DD. I've really tried at this point
it's definitely up there, the whole album is great but once you hit interlude/thank you for the venom, it's on.
Yeah, I didn't like DD at the time and I still don't, but I think it says a lot that most promo I have seen about this is using Three Cheers or BP imagery. Also the whole reunion thing is definitely a darker tone, so I'm hoping for a Three cheers style dark MCR return.
There was this tiny little "edgy, xbox, monster energy, dubstep" kid at my middle school who I grew up with and he started dating our local emo girl in like 7th Grade. Anyways, one morning he was crying in the lunchroom and murmuring "mama, we all go to hell" and I was lowkey kinda freaked out. Anyways that's all I can think about when I think about "Mama" and it kinda ruined the song for me.
