I guess I can understand why fans don’t like DD, it’s certainly a pivot, but Gerard’s delivery could sell anything to me tbh

 

I'm very triggered. Danger Days is so good. It's their most vicious record. Maybe my favorite but I mean, that's like choosing a favorite child except the stakes are greater.

 

Bulletproof Heart is definitely a top for me. My top 3 overall songs by MCR are Famous Last Words, Bulletproof Heart, and Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back.

I listened to danger days today too. Power pop/electro rock just is not my genre

 

Danger Days is their best album to me and one of my favorites of all time. I love that it is long, but doesn't drag anywhere. Summertime and Kids From Yesterday are fantastic slower songs. Vampire Money is a hell of a close. Just a perfect album.

 

I love how he censors the lyrics but still yells "motherfucker" in the middle of the song anyway lmao

 

“Summertime” is like the perfect encapsulation of summer. I listened to it so much in the summer and it’s somehow the perfect song for the season in every way. It’s ridiculous.

 

Danger Days is my second favorite album of all time.

 

It’s the emo version of Just Like Heaven. The way each instrument is introduced is exactly like the cure

I'm just so happy I'm going to FINALLY be able to see them headlining, the only time I ever saw them was when they opened for Blink on the Honda Civic Tour in 2011 and the crowd was shit so I couldn't really get into it
