Danger Days was the first thing I went to today in the car. And I did hit repeat on Na Na Na a few times loudly haha
Just realised, whilst I love MCR, I've not seen them live since 2005. Saw them twice in 2004, and once in 2005. That makes me feel old. Did not think it had been 14 years.
This has me beyond excited. Gonna be on an MCR kick for a while. With bands like The Dangerous Summer, Busted, The Maine, The Early November, new blink, Bayside, new Go Radio and The Almost STILL producing records/announcing new music - the younger me is gonna get the emo fringe back in business!
Okay, last one. Would anyone be surprised if we see "Return" as a Netflix doc/performance? The combination of LA/expensive tickets/Netflix/already existing show branding etc.
Save Yourself doesn't do as much for me, but scarecrow kicks it up a notch and really starts nailing the vibe they're going for
I stopped in the middle of Bulletproof Heart earlier and, while I plan to return to it later, I’m not too hopeful I’m gonna be swayed
Yea I plan on giving it a relisten but each time I’ve checked out DD in the past I’ve strongly disliked it. Especially at first I struggled hard with the aesthetic/story/vibe. also, I would definitely pay 150 for one of my favorite bands and I get it, but considering I saw linkin park and MCR and like 8 other bands for ~70, 150 is wiiild.
I had no lunch earlier then got a text from a friend who got an extra ticket. Still in shock. Very very excited
just listened to Bullets and I was thinking of a few songs I'd like to create a setlist of (not sure I could narrow it down to 25 so I haven't made one yet haha). Definitely Mirror and Early Sunsets...and can I just say how freaking fantabulous Demolition Lovers is??!!! Oh, and since it's such a rare play, I'd love to see Drowning Lessons, but I know that's a hard one for the band to play so it probably won't happen. another thought-speaking of Clerks 3 and Gerard doing the music for it, I was thinking Cubicles would be a fun song to add to the movie. hehe what do you think?
I don’t have the time or energy to make an entire dream set list, but I’ve decided that Mirror is the opener and Famous Last Words is the closer
If it helps, that's the only song on the album I skip over and I think the back half is the strongest. I wasn't really into the album at first either, but now I find myself returning to it a lot
