I got one last night too. Disappointed I didn't get tickets but MCR being back is so massive for my life.
Same exact thing for me. I don't listen to anything country but that album has massive cross-over appeal
No gig should cost more than $50. And fuck fees forever I knew I was never going to pull the trigger on this but I hope they do tour
DO NOT buy resell tickets for this. They likely won’t work with the rules they have in place, and the band will definitely tour near you next year.
Do the tickets have people's names on them and you need your ID checked at the doors or something?? I've never heard of any sort of ticket verification at a concert, weird.
screenshots don’t work as the QR code resets itself very frequently and you can’t transfer the tickets. only way for you to buy someone else’s ticket is if they give you their login information
Viagogo is the worst ticket reseller out there, I deal with more scams through that site than probably all the others combined.
Wow that's wild, honestly had no idea there were shows like that. Kinda sucks you have to worry about having data and a charged battery in order to get in with no backup option lol
Yeah I haven't in ages either but I almost always print one out. I've never used my phone to get into a concert, except for one show I went to this summer, but I was just tagging along with my gf and she had that all handled on her end
Added all of Three Cheers to my running playlist. Every song (aside from Interlude) is great for uptempo running
That was my main running soundtrack back when I went to the gym lol. I’d mouth along to the words and make elaborate facial expressions and didn’t give a fuck what anyone else thought. Actually helped with my breathing!
Posting way after the fact, but I got a ticket! I may have cried a bit... can't wait to finally scratch this band off the bucket list.
Everyone remembers that the Maxwells show in 2007 (the one that’s on the Black Parade is Dead! DVD) was $100 and people were outraged about that, and that was 12 years ago. Now, that was for charity, but people still paid that to see them in that setting. It ended up being a pretty standard show (aside from the new Untitled song, which wasn’t even planned).
omg! i just found out that my aunt (through marriage) knows one of the previous managers of MCR. Do you know who it might be? (I'm following up with her a.s.a.p.)
Somehow only saw MCR once, but it was with TBS, Underoath, and Rise Against. Definitely not paying anywhere near $150, but I hope there's a tour stop near me.
No one is or was saying its an issue. There is literally no one who thought it wouldn't sell out instantly lol. They could've charged double and still sold out instantly.
