I’ve been watching multiple very good superhero shows lately so it may be tainting my opinion but this is roouuuuuuuggggfhhh.
It's one of those shows that I think is objectively bad/messy a lot of the time, but I still love and can't help watching. Same with Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and AHS
The real question is would he go if the used were playing the canyon in full in alphabetical order as the opening set? tbd
I never was a MCR Stan or anything cause I was, like, 11 when they broke up, but I always appreciated their classic songs, and the timeless nature of their albums, although I never listened more than casually cause I do not have the emotional investment or attention span to listen to artists that no longer record music or tour. All that being said, I'm glad they're back and can't wait to dive into their discography. Also, do I really wanna fly 1500 miles to LA and blow all my money soley for the emo clout? Yes, yes I do.
I so badly wish I could fly out to LA from New York but the flight and ticket and everything else would add up to almost $1000
Downloaded the discography on Apple Music to do my first full re-listen in quite some time. I had combined “Conventional Weapons” into a full album. Forgot how much I loved some of these songs.
I didn't really dig The Umbrella Academy show much either. The comics are amazing though, the medium just fits the story and characters way more and it's better written.
Going through a full discography run today. It's going to be nice to listen to them again without an undercurrent of sadness.
It was really fun reading through 21 pages of hype since I couldn't participate today lol I honestly can't believe the day is finally here. I always knew deep down they'd get back together but at the same time I'm just absolutely shocked. Doing it on Halloween was so incredibly on brand though lol It makes me so, so happy that we're going into the new decade with MCR as an active band again. They've been sorely missing
