Y’all can we not have the Emo semantics argument in this thread today

today is a good day

 

Prediction: 2020 they hit up just about every festival on the planet, playing the old stuff with maybe a new single

2021 they release an album and have a traditional tour

 

I was gonna say what about CRJ and Taylor but then I was like never mind they're both emo

 

yikes, that's a hell of a story.

 

Oh yeah. I definitely didn't think they'd ever play a show again, but the fact that they did was amazing.

I am so excited about all of this. All in for whatever it is they do next.

 

With writing Doom Patrol and more Umbrella Academy comics recently, I’m really exciting to see this new aesthetic. The concept and story for Danger Days should have blown up.

 

Danger Days was kind of ahead of its time, but was a little unclear and unfocused as a full concept, seemingly due to time constraints rather than quality (and I really like the album).

I have no doubt they'd be able to execute it much better now with the experience they've all gained.

 

I can’t believe today is real.

 

Sorry if this has already been discussed but I’m very curious what song they open with.

Like... first show in how many years after legit thinking they’d never play again and I can’t even imagine what song they’d want to kick off with. Craziness.

Any guesses?
