I want to hear those demos, especially if any of them didn't actually make it on the album but I'm not really interested in buying it.
3 Party At The End Of The World (live demo) 6 Not That Kind Of Girl (live demo) 9 Emily (rough mix) 11 All The Angels (live demo) Could all be songs we haven't heard but I doubt it.
Wow, I love "The Five of Us Are Dying". Definitely wouldn't have been the big hit WTTBP was, but cool to see the origin behind it and I like the story. Super jazzed to hear all the other tracks, glad they're all unreleased and not just the studio versions of My Way Home, Kill All Your Friends, etc. Hope that Disenchanted demo is the Shut Up and Play version. This is much better than I could have hoped for (as far as a re-release goes)
I thought it was $65? But yeah way too expensive. And that flag is just dumb. Also, the artwork is very bland. Was expecting a little more. I'm pretty happy with the recent repress. The artwork on that is my favorite.
It just screams cash grab at the top of its lungs. I bought a first press for like $25 years ago and even then, I had to double take at the price. To charge that much for something that was already repressed a year or so ago and with a cheap flag included is so laughable to me.
Yes it is. You know Gerard's speaking at the beginning of 'Sleep' where he says 'It feels like something is gripping my throat'? That's him recounting waking up in the middle of the night feeling like a ghost was choking him. This is all in the deluxe edition booklet.
Yeah, it's real. The deluxe version of TBP has a great write up of the entire recording/writing session, it's really really interesting. Was a really grueling process for the entire band.
Oh. Ha. Was it known for being "haunted"? Or did they just think they heard noises and saw shit, so they assumed it was?
