"Why would The Used open for MCR? The Used are one of the most well known and influential rock bands of all time and have been consistently playing and touring for almost 20 years. Meanwhile MCR are coming off a very long hiatus after releasing an album that wasn't well received. I can see MCR opening for The Used but not the other way around. It just doesn't make sense."
The first Taste of Chaos was my Woodstock. The Used and MCR playing back to back. MCR coming in hot off the heels of 3 cheers and had a girl in a dress dancing during Helena. Legendary shit.
Man I was getting my hopes up lol... but this site is pretty much the only place I see it being discussed this intently (other than that one Reddit thread). Idk. I hope it's true, but at this point I feel like we would've heard more by now if so?
I do appreciate how it's slowly picking up pace though. Reminds me of the hype behind Fall Out Boy's reunion. Or Refused and At The Drive In as both were linked to Coachella's lineup announcement at the time.
I feel like the Frank Iero post could easily be about his own band playing a show. Not trying to be a downer but I think there’s really not much to go off of right now. I sincerely hope I’m wrong. If they do announce something tomorrow and managed to keep it THIS quiet I’ll be very impressed.
I don’t know if they’re announcing anything tomorrow but I know for a fact they are playing at least one show in 2020. I don’t really buy a pop up show happening, I’d love to be wrong though
Disturbed recorded immortalized with no one knowing about it so it’s very possible. Same thing happened with fob when they dropped save rock and roll. So it’s very possible a very high profile band can keep things under wraps
Outside of the Reddit thread, this is the only thing I could find of anyone saying anything (I have no idea what forum this is on but I’m assuming they’re talking about Coachella which is what someone told me)
