Bulletproof Heart, The Only Hope for Me is You, Save Yourself and Party Poison were all originally on the album with the stuff from CW. Gerard wasn't too happy with it. Then they wrote Na Na Na which made Gerard kind of want to go in a different direction, they then wrote Vampire Money and then the rest of the album.

 

Party Posion and Save Yourself were for sure from those sessions.

 

I think Look Alive is the perfect opener so I definitely wouldn't have anything before that. I'm not sure why you made certain changes to the original track list, ha. I might have to listen at some point to see how they flow.

 

I think having Zero Percent before it gives it context. I like the bookends of 0%/Look Alive and GN,DD/Vampire Money.

 

Only time I saw MCR before Linkin Park at projekt revolution after TBP. Felt like a headliner though and it blew me away.
My ranking: TBP > TCFSR/CW > Bullets > DD

 

I'd probably go with TBP/3C > Bullets > CW > DD

Saw MCR when they were touring for Bullets, Gerard's drunk/leather jacket phase. It was incredible.

It's like getting shit on right after taking a shower.

 

My listen to Three Cheers earlier today cemented that album as one that, in my mind, is just....there. I don't love any song on there, it's all listenable, it's all just okay. Honestly, I think any song from TBP or DD, with the exception of Sleep or Destroya, would be the best song on Three Cheers.

I'm glad they got that out of the way ASAP instead of jerking us along for two months. I guess that means 9/23 is the release date of whatever this is (re-release plus maybe demos?) and we'll get more news soon. Knowing WB and this band, probably an overpriced artsy fartsy collectors set that's not worth it, but I will still buy and put it on the shelf in my closet to collect dust with my Black Parade is Dead! coffin and Danger Days BLI box.

 

A teaser and website redesign just seems so unnecessary for an anniversary release. Oh well, at least I spent the last day listening to a band I love.

I saw them twice during that time. Once with the full jacket, the other time after he had cut one arm off it, so one side was like a leather vest and the other like a leather jacket.

People are going to react when you go to these lengths just for a re-release. Like Jake said, it doesn't make sense.
