They left behind a great legacy. I’d like to see them live again but I understand if they don’t put out new music.
yeah he's always been pretty sure about it and the more into his comic hermit life he gets the happier he seems and the more MCR seems like an impossibility.
I'd love for them to come back (I even have money set aside in my savings account for if they do) but its been so long I've grown to accept they probably won't tour ever again but at least I've got my memories of when I did see them. I have a few videos on my YouTube I took at different shows that still get comments all the time from people who never got to see them.
If i were a betting man I’d say they’ll reunite someday, but I don’t expect it to be more than 10 shows or something like that
I think it's kind of crazy to think they will never do something. I could see any number of ways they could go about it (tour only - no new music, tour only after releasing new music, just a few shows - idk they will do what they think is right), but I just don't buy that we never hear from them again as a band.
I could see them recording before I could see them touring. G makes it sound like that's rough on them, and it has to get worse with age
Watched episode one and was not feeling it, does it pick up? I remember reading some of the comics a while ago I think and liking the vibe but lost the thread.
Episode 2 is probably the low point, but it does pick up after that. It’s not the best storytelling but I do find it very entertaining.
They betta not reunite to play some festivals across the country no sir. I'll allow maybe a reunion show in NJ first cause home turf, but then they need to play legit shows and not expect me to go out in the SUN with PEOPLE at some FESTIVAL. Also Gerard needs to release another solo album and tour that here too. Ur welcome for the career advice, Gerard
I mean in the interview he said they'd probably just drop an album out of nowhere if they were to get back together, so I don't think they'd just cash in for a couple of shows or whatever. I think they'll be back eventually.
Damn, this performance would have been so fucking fun to see. So much energy Also, still really digging Danger Days as I familiarize myself more with it. Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back could easily fit on Three Cheers
Save Yourself would stick out like a sore thumb on Three Cheers. Plus it would be the worst song on there by a mile.
Disagree completely. The chorus sounds exactly like something that would've been on there, maybe not so much the intro and verses. But if we're gonna talk about songs sticking out like a sore thumb, then I'd say I'm Not Okay fits that description far more :P. I definitely enjoy Save Yourself more than that song, too.
Nah I agree with you, Save Yourself would sound more in place on Three Cheers than it does on DD to me. Not perfectly of course but yeah
Haha right? Of all the live performances for them to play on a TV network, that was a big surprise. Super cool performance though. I guess they had a second performance in that same show though of The Kids From Yesterday
Fair. I agree Summertime is the best, but I do prefer Na Na Na, Sing, Scarecrow, and Save Yourself. TKFY sounds like a mix of poppy Mayday Parade and Blink's California to me, which I actually do really enjoy, but feels like a small step down for MCR.
