I finally got around to giving Conventional weapons a serious listen. It’s real good. But i am struggling to find an appropriate track listing that feels more like an album as opposed to a series of songs. Anyone got any suggestions? What order do y’all use? (And yes, I’ve tried alphabetically.)
I'm fine with the track listing. Boy Division's a perfect opener and I think Burn Bright is a great closer. I'm fine with it feeling more like songs than an album because that's what it is, lol.
I’ve returned to DD a handful of times and I can’t stand it anymore now than the first listen. CW is so much better imo.
Looks like I’m alone in my search for a better tracklisting. It’s a lonesome road. But one I must walk.
Was going thru old setlists on setlist.fm from shows I've seen and noticed this one from 2005 has disenchanted.is that just a typo or did they have a demo back then? Clearly I don't remember back then!
Just looking at the setlist from when I saw them back in 2005 here in the uk and I got the same setlist (in a different order) plus a cover of Astro Zombies. So they definitley were playing disenchanted regulary back then. That gig was incredible, they already had such stage prescene by then.
This thread has made me listen to them a lot this week. I don't revisit their first two albums much, but I love The Black Parade, Danger Days, and Conventional Weapons. I think my top 5 would be: The Kids From Yesterday The Sharpest Lives Disenchanted Summertime Famous Last Words
I think it was one of my first shows and I was so overwhelmed. Their shows always felt so intense with the pushing and shoving like we were all gonna just fall over and get trampled so they always freaked me out lol. I think this one below is my fave setlist of theirs I've seen tho just cause I love those b sides
I'm just going to be eternally disappointed that I never saw my two favourite songs live. Desert Song looked incredible from the YouTube videos though.
I'm always bummed I didn't get to see the Danger Days tour cause I was a poor first year college student who didn't have a car! That Era was so aesthetically pleasing.
I only ever saw them on the Blink tour unfortunately. They did play a reworked version of Skylines and Turnstiles though which was awesome to see
I never saw them cause I was young and literally none of my friends liked them when they were active. I never had a chance :(
Only time I ever saw MCR. Opening for Green Day in 2005. Can't believe they still had a 16 song set as an opener. My Chemical Romance Setlist at Wolstein Center, Cleveland
