I would appreciate Gerard's underrated solo career more if he came by on tour. If he skips again I am DONE (no I'm not)

I still don't see them coming back any time soon sadly. I'm looking forward to hopefully getting some new music from Gerard soon though.

I wasn’t saying that they’d sound like them, more that I could see MCR experiencing a similar surge in popularity if they reunited.

What is the latest with Gerard's solo music? Is he planning on putting out a new album soon?

 

From what I remember he was pushing it back to focus on The Umbrella Academy Netflix show. Which it turns out wrapped up filming in July. So maybe soon?

 

I think he works on music like one day a week or something like that. It's not his main focus at the moment but he's definitely working on stuff.

Still love that album so much. I’ve gone back to that one the most over the years.

 

A must watch on Halloween.

 

Gosh I remember watching the House of Blues live stream on Halloween in 2006 right after TBP came out. It was the first time I remember "tuning in" for a live stream of a show on the internet. They all wore skeleton face paint. Such a great show.

^^Although The Black Parade is Dead! is great too, I'll always have such a special connection with that tour

 

I still have a vhs recording of their mtv2 $2 bill performance lol

 

I had a dream last night that they randomly put out a new song on Bandcamp but didn't actually get back together.

I can't even get my favourite band back in my dreams. :(

If this band somehow got back together, I don't think this thread would be the only place you'd hear about it. It'd be all over social media. So if you complain about a thread bump for the GOATs then you are a CHILD
