To me, Three Cheers is so easily their best album. Also The Ghost of You is like tied for my favorite song on there (with Cemetery Drive), how on earth you would feel compelled to stop listening after that one... But ya know, opinions.
I need to see them actually headline, I only saw them on the tour with Blink, but they did play a reworked version of Skylines & Turnstiles and that was incredible.
Maybe one day, it will come to you, I hope it does because it's an insanely good record. With the new represses, I got a chance to revisit them through a new perspective, and all nostalgia aside, they are truly special records. Am I the only one AMAZED by how good the Three Cheers splatter sounds?
Tear up every time. It's strange how such a well-known and popular songs makes me feel a very personal connection. Hard to explain but GOD DAMN
Thinking about it more I feel like there has to be at least some shows. They know what people are thinking and that their fans are going to go crazy over this teaser. I feel like they'd say something or just wouldn't have teased anything if it was just a reissue.
I get you. Also I'm listening to Revenge for the second time in a row and I must have heard this album thousands of times by now and it still amazes me.
I guess the main reason I'm pessimistic is because Gerard basically said he doesn't control the site or any updates with it, so it could just be WB hyping a re-release
Yeah but I feel like one of them would have said something if they weren't doing anything just so people didn't get their hopes up. If I've learnt anything from recent reunions it's that silence is usually the best indicator that something's coming.
Excited about this. I was listening to some MCR last night after the video was posted. As great as The Black Parade is, I think Three Cheers is my favorite of theirs.
I'd kill to see some of those Bullets songs played live. Monroeville, Drowning Lessons and Demolition Lovers especially I'd just die.
I had never heard them when I saw them in a student lounge with Story of the Year lol. I bought Bullets at that show. I assume they played everything, I wish I had been familiar with them before I saw them. That was great haha.
I want to be at one of those early My Chem shows so badly. If anyone ever invents a time machine that's where I'm going.
