My Chemical Romance Selling Face Masks

Sold out almost immediately after they went on sale yesterday

 

Same thing happened when Thursday put masks up on their site. I believe they said they sold out in just 19 seconds.

 

Also confirms they were set to play Coachella or do something related to it

 

First they have grossly inflated ticket prices and now this? Not really a good look but hey marketing I guess

 

I don’t get it. The face value of the ticket prices were what would be considered “fair market value”. Ticketmaster is who is responsible for the dynamic pricing that made the face values change almost immediately after the on sale started, and for allowing the ticket scalping that further jacked up ticket prices.

These masks were produced for when they were going to play at Coachella, but they dropped out before the lineup was announced. They were sitting on an inventory of masks, and now we are in a situation where most cities (at least in the US) are requiring some form of facial protection. All of the proceeds are being donated for those who are out of work due to the touring industry coming to a halt. And they’re priced at $14.99 which is probably a little less than they would have been sold at if it was all for profit and under a normal situation.

So what’s the problem?
