I was kicking myself for not buying the Loveless remaster so I'm excited to grab that. Bummer the ep's aren't getting a vinyl pressing. All in all a bit disappointing of an announcement but between that engineer's bio and signing to Domino I actually do feel like new material might be realistic for 2021.
I just cant bring myself to spend the same amount on a standard non analog edition for the same price when I know an analog cut exists. I already own an analogue cut of mbv. So I’d really just be spending $50 on Isnt Anything.
Well shit. Went to bite the bullet on Isnt Anything and looks like I can’t get it anyway because they won’t ship it to the US. Strange.
they’ve been doing this for a few months now I think. noticed a few albums are animated in my library, but yeah all the mbv albums are animated
Got the last copy of deluxe Loveless from some music store in Ireland lol. Snagged Isn’t Anything deluxe as well. $100 after shipping. I’m not proud. some records you just need to own, and I’m not risking them being ultra limited (if my track record holds, the deluxe Loveless will be widely available in June)
>The band are also working on two new albums for the label, according to The New York Times: one “warm and melodic,” the other more experimental. Bilinda Butcher suggested they would finish recording by the end of this year Fingers crossed this comes to fruition
none of the US spots are getting Loveless at this time - just MBV I ordered the loveless deluxe from Juno records in the UK
it's all because of shitty label distribution - they can't sell those two in the US for whatever reason
Yea just got an email from the shop I went through in Ireland and apparently they were oversold so they cancelled and refunded my order. Boooooo.
well shucks, guess there's no way to get the loveless vinyl right now if you're in the US (domino records isn't shipping there either).
