Damn, I really love the new song. I hope there’s a good mix of stuff like that and some fast punk songs on the album. Thank god it’s not a long roll out!

Pre-ordered the vinyl and blue shirt lol. I want the jogger pants too.

 

yeah thanks for pointing this out. finally found them after poking around and it took numerous times of logging in and out again, i tried over a few hours but it finally clicked at some point and went through. just glad i got a vinyl and hoodie locked in haha cheers

 

Those are the best concerts where its the whole crowd singing but you can't hear him! I'd love to hear MxPx cover LTJ and vice versa.

 

I like hearing the singer who I paid to see play sing. No covers, please.

 

I meant recorded covers. I just want to see bands have fun. I love when bands bring other bands out for a song.

I like seeing the band have fun playing their songs and singing their songs. Guests can be cool at times, but not that exciting to me. The biggest exception is when the guest actually sang on the album. Then it elevates the performance, for sure. Overall, guests are harmless.

 

What if the cover was on an album? What then?

 

That's no way to go Franco Un-American. (Joking of course, we all got preferences. Me loves a good cover, not too many though.)

I don’t necessarily hate all covers, I just generally think I’d rather just listen to the original. There are, as always, exceptions. I love Thrice’s cover of The Earth Isn’t Humming. It fits so well on that EP. A lot of Christmas songs from the scene are covers, but I guess holiday songs are in a slightly different category. Straylight Run played a song from REDACTED live back in the day that was incredible.

You’re right, it’s just preference. We agree that it’s fun to see a band having fun though.
