It got lost in the mix of my love for Life In General, then the At The Show live album and Let It Happen all releasing around the same time…so much great mxpx in the late 90s, then TEPM was released and I just never got much into it.
Was on a road trip and my cousin played Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo and NFG self titled for me and my life was never the same. I had heard of knew some Blink songs at the time but discovering there were other bands that generally sounded like that opened up a new world for me.
Was that video the first you saw of him? He’s rad. As a bass player, I really dig how he analyzes and describes the various aspects of bass. But he also will speak to other parts of song writing. Always a fascinating watch.
As someone who doesn’t play bass and knows nothing about the technical side of it, I agree with Greg. Very cool channel. The last couple years he’s fallen in love with punk rock thanks to his viewers, so much so that he even bought a Stingray, something he swore he would never do. Always a good watch
Yep, and then I opened a bunch to check out and watch. The Lagwagon one for "Give it Back" is fantastic; love seeing him fall in love with them given the last two months have been heavily dominated by those albums over here.
I’d use I’m Okay You’re Okay as an example too if I were planning to give that album a 2.5 star rating
