Find a Way Home is their best album since Before Everything and After imo. I really like the albums since then too - especially Panic & Secret Weapon. I'm definitely excited about the potential for another album now.
I think they may have ramped up activity enough for a new album to be realistic. Seems like they found a good balance of keeping the band going without burning out.
Lol ya, same. Wish they could release a deluxe edition of it or something, like Green Day with their albums hitting 25th anniversaries.
Im like 99% sure this is the first album leak I ever downloaded. I remember seeing it pop up on Napster and was shocked that an album Id never heard of by Mxpx was out there.
After my first listen, I just kind of felt like it wasn't for me. Then it kept playing in my brain. 20 listens later I'm all in.
Re: TEPM I cannot believe it's been 25 years. There are a handful of albums I remember, vividly, listening to on my morning drive to high school my senior year. This is one of them. An absolute pantheon album of my formative years.
I forget did you end up tracking down all the other TEPM session songs from that tracklist I made? That’s the deluxe that I wish would get remastered/released.
Maybe? I have a lot of extra bsides and stuff now, but I’m sure I’m missing something. They have a lot of songs.
Yeah they do haha. Let me know if you find any you’re missing from TEPM, I’m pretty sure I have them all. Always amazes me to realize how fruitful their one time with Jerry Finn was.
Random bsides I have (never been able to find a title for that Track 1 one): And then I have all the other stuff from Let’s Rock, Broken Bones, Bandcamp Demos Collection 1. See anything missing that sticks out?
Jason here’s the TEPM list. There are also a few TEPM demos that were released on Xmas cd singles. I’ll check on the other bsides later.
