Sorry to ask again and for quote my own message, but anyone has a rip of the livestream for the release of their self-titled album (2018)?
It's out there on their various official channels. It's lower quality than their recent livestreams but you can find it on YouTube or FB. https://fb.watch/mIxjGh3s3r/ https://www.youtube.com/live/0e_WeTKmBN8?si=aLlZB1nSw01jHG4u
This is one of those covers that's likable, but it's just too close to the original to feel like it matters.
Man, why does Kris Roe get so much shit? Is it the Drummer incident? He’s always seemed like a good dude to me.
he slid into my exs DMs on IG, he's a predator. she doesn't follow him or his band. and yah he threw a drum set at my friends head.
pleasantly surprised by this album. I only really know the hits from mxpx, but I did a front-to-back playthrough last night and loved the whole thing. Also @Jason Tate the banner at the top of the chorus site is sick, and got me to check out the record.
I've probably listened to this album 20 times at this point. After being totally obsessed with this band when I was young, it's probably been about 10 years since I had a deep connection with any of their music. This album just brings it all back. For whatever reason, it just really, really resonates.
It's true to form what got them started while still being natural which is pretty rare for an older band.
Plans Within Plans and the Self-Titled record didn't connect with me hardly at all...but this one really does. Been awhile since I’ve enjoyed mxpx this much.
I decided to give the album a try and I love this. It looks like I have about thirty years worth of material to dive into.
I really love this new album. Just as good as self titled. These guys are literally putting out the best music of their careers right now, IMO.
big pop-punk fan here, have always remained on the periphery of MXPX, casually listened but never really dedicated to the cause, so to speak. New record owns.
MxPx's music video for “This Is What You Told Me” is out now!! Directed by Darren Doane and starring his son, Knox Doane
