This is great!

Also, seeing MxPx and Twins Baseball side by side is the combination of two of my favorite things!

 

Two listens this morning. I looooove the last album but this album already hits different and keeps things interesting. This is probably their best in many many years!

 

Definitely enjoying this record more than the last one. It’s an MxPx album and it does what they do best. It’s been a long time since I heard this version of the band and I’m here for it.

 

from the livestream and what I'm hearing now it reminds me more of plans within plans then self-titled which i prefer. i came in a couple songs in on the livestream last night so i heard that cautious optimistic song first and it reminded me of their cheesier stuff lyric wise but the rest of the album i was like oh ok , its more skate punk this is sick!! job well done on album number 11 i think they said!

 

The back half is the “heavier” side of the album. The band agreed with someone saying so in the after party last night. I do think the back half is stronger, but I like all the songs. Solid album that sounded great blasting in my car this morning.

 

yah that makes sense, it picks up more i feel, its awesome though, i fucking love this band! i guess i just prefer the ripper songs over the midtempo songs but yah i couldn't watch the after party, i no has youtube premium

 

I did the free trial. I’ll enjoy no ads for 29 more days and then cancel.

It was a quick mistake. Jason’s love for MxPx wouldn't allow that to stand for more than a minute or two I’d guess:)

 

Not Today is hitting me so hard I can’t really think of any other songs in the album.

 

This album is great. It's definitely going to a top album this year, I may be bias just cause they've been a huge part of my life for over 25 years.

The song "What I Tell Myself" has some
"Well Adjusted" vibes.

Can't wait for the vinyl to ship! Speaking of which, when's it shipping again? I feel like they printed my shipping label the day I ordered it!

I got a notification mine shipped yesterday. But yea, I had my label made weeks ago. But my secondary tracking app got the update yesterday.

 

Mine changed to shipped yesterday, and is in Bremerton it looks like now (due here tomorrow).

 

The single's the only song I didn't like on first preview. Most of the the other songs, classic MxPx! Excited to ride with it the next few weeks.

 

Nice! Yeah, mine has no movement yet. But it's going to my PO box outside of Buffalo, then injave to request it over the border. So I've got time before I can spin it.

I'm really loving this new album. For some reason I didn't listen to Stay Up All Night when it was released but really liking that too. It kept bothering me why I recognized the first couple notes in the main riff and then I realized it's the same as the beginning of Side Walk Slam's Everyday. Random connection but now it won't be driving me crazy.
