I'm almost one year late but I stumbled upon this and had many thoughts:
1. Wait she's releasing music again? A Minor Bird was a 2012 highlight and I always wished it would get a follow-up
2. It sounds A LOT like Mutemath, like I could totally hear Paul over that instrumental
3. Turns out Darren and Todd were part of its creation

Even though I'm still sad about the way Mutemath fizzled out, I love that their spirit still lives through their individual members.

 

I love that song, and I love her stuff. She released a whole albums-worth of singles since A Minor Bird and a ton of them are great. I think she has a new song out this week or next week which should be the lead single from her next album also

 

Sorry for the bump, but I’ve been listening to Armistice today and damn I miss this band.

 

Paul produced and co-wrote the comeback single from Pierce The Veil, which actually is pretty great and surprising imo

 

Wait... Really? Am I going to listen to a Pierce The Veil song? Wtf

 

Took a listen by curiosity and it sounds like something from Envy On The Coast's Lowcountry, surprisingly. Not what I remember Pierce The Veil sounding like back in the day.

 

That’s a good comparison, yeah. It’s definitely very different for them.

 

Did not see that coming.

 

5 years since the last Mutemath show. Daaaaamn.

Last week I heard Play Dead again after a really long time and wow forgot how amazing that album is. Truly miss this band
