    Sounds pretty cool,

"a 30 min mix of bonus material (including original demos for Peculiar People and Without It along with some never heard or released solo demos and instrumentals)"

I'm certain it's nothing, but the band just updated their socials today with a new logo

that's the band's old logo from their earlier records. i'm assuming a 20th anniversary celebration of S/T? probably a vinyl repress and maybe a digital release of some other demos?

    The rivalry is back on

I know 20th anniversary of S/T makes sense, but I’d really like 15th anniversary Odd Soul or finally getting that Armistice re-press over another special edition of S/T

agreed, but i know a ton of people also missed out on that S/T repress. i think Warner only let Paul press 1,000 copies, and the only reason they had a sale a couple of years ago is because a box or two of records was lost and Paul ended up finding them. after they sold out, he inquired about another pressing, and i guess it's possible but difficult. doing it for the 20th anniversary definitely makes sense for everyone who missed out.

i would love copies of Armistice, Odd Soul, and Vitals. i had a housemate in college who had vinyl copies of Odd Soul and Vitals on his desk and he'd plug in his headphones into his turntable and listen to them while he worked on assignments, and i was always jealous he got his hands on copies.

    Newbie

One could hope. Especially with how transparent Paul was about his time in MM on the solo record. I truly do not think any band is "broken-up" unless members pass away.

out at dinner and they're playing Spotlight over the speakers, hell yeah

also saw someone else on Reddit talk about this today and i think it might be the logo from the center labels for Armistice, so we might be getting a repress

That logo was used for the first three records. Its probably a repress of the self titled record for the 20 year anniversary.

looks like Without It and Polite are coming to streaming on Monday! it also marks 20 years since the release of S/T, so i assume we're maybe getting a 20th anniversary reissue?

They are indeed on streaming and it was so good to listen to them. Been years.

Back in my iPod days I had everything from both versions of the release together, and in the years of streaming I had kind of forgotten about those.

Great to have them back. Now if we can just get the band back :-/

really wish they just released the new master of the whole album they did for the vinyl 10 years ago on streaming since it's the original Teleprompt version. regardless, it's good people can hear these songs again

I made a playlist with these included and everything feels right again.

Well except for them not existing anymore.

Original version is superior. These two songs being on streaming can't quite recreate it still, there's multiple songs that are different on the original still

yup. extended versions of Break the Same and You Are Mine, as well as a few instrumental and vocal differences on Obsolete and Picture.

Having two of the EP songs smashed in there never felt right either

3 of them! i could've sworn i read the original intention was to put those EP songs on the album and that all songs from S/T and Reset were written around the same time, but it doesn't really feel right to carry those tracks over from Reset. those two releases have always really felt like separate bodies of work, and with Reset finally on streaming in the US, it makes it even odder to keep the newer album configuration

Threw on S/T while doing some housework today after seeing this thread bump. It’s just so easy on the ears. Love the mix.
