It's growing on me with every listen. And I loved it to start I can't believe DK is no longer a part of it though. Can't wait to see them next week
finally listened to this. Break the Fever, Achilles Heel, and Marching to the End are my standouts so far
I was playing this album tonight during my run and I legit ran my best mile in awhile as Achilles Heel was playing. That song made me feel invincible haha
This is finally catching on with me. The song into weird electronic outro def gets overdone a bit, but they just do it so well it hard to complain. Also, songs from this album will absolutely RIP live
Saw them last night amd the new stuff does, in fact, rip live. They played Changes too and it sounded fucking incredible.
Good. Both new guys are very good. Not Roy and DK good, imo, but there's not really much of a noticeable drop in quality in their live show
Really enjoyed this on first listen. I also re-listened to Odd Soul for the first time in a really long time. I forgot how great that album is.
I haven’t decided if it’s a breakup, because of the blacked out pictures and the fact that the song they posted was “Marching To The End”, or if it’s a new live album because they posted a live video and are teasing it, rather than just announcing whatever they have to say. Or I guess it could be both.
I feel like this whole “teasing an apparent breakup” thing is kind of weird. Like, teasing and building things with daily mysterious posts usually builds anticipation for something positive. Not a breakup. So maybe it’s not a breakup. Or it’s a rebranding. Or something. I’m not really sure but it’s just been weird for me. Anyways, Merry Christmas!
Yeah honestly I feel like they're more likely to rebrand than to outright break up, so maybe that's what this is? Idk.
I hadn't seen any of the post yet, but after reading them all one after the other it definitely seems like a rebranding. It's kinda interesting. They always do things outta the box
Anyone have any idea what's going on with these guys?? They were posting a bunch of cryptic stuff (I know it's song lyrics but the way they were posting them was cryptic) and then just stopped on Dec. 26th. Side note, Play Dead is still superb. Actually heard "Break the Fever" out at a mall yesterday and it made me want to jam the album when I got home. I'm hoping even if that album ends up being their swan song, that the members both current and past will continue making music.
