It's just a little different in this case because Darren specifically has always been a HUGE part of their sound, his uniqueness. It's like Pete Wentz leaving Fall Out Boy, or that drummer from System of a Down leaving that band haha

Nice to hear some guitars again on "Placed on Hold." Also, Paul's voice is excellent on this album.

Well this is 9 kinds of good. "Break the Fever" is one of the best songs I've heard this year.

Can't wait to listen to this, will always think about how I first heard these guys on PureVolume when their profile had like two songs on it.

Oh man this record slays. Achilles Heel is so damn good, it's like Mutemath's entire discography boiled down into one song.

Ha! Yes! I still remember sitting in my local library and listening to "Control" on Purevolume and being like "damn." God that was ages ago now.

I like this so far. It didn't click with me like Vitals did but it's a fun listen for sure.

Great album. I still like the production on Vitals a bit better. Achilles Heel is groovy AF.

Been listening to this all week, gets better with each spin. Achilles Heel is still my favorite but I have a different runner-up every day. Love that Placed On Hold sounds like it could've been on their self-titled.
