I have a friend who works 'in the business' who said the music is actually pretty bad... Still curious, though. I had zero expectations for Legally Blonde, and ended up really enjoying that. Guessing this will be similar.
Not excited about another musical based on a movie, but Samantha Barks is fantastic, as is Steve Kazee.
Interesting. Has he performed before? TV shows or anything? Didn't know he acted. EDIT: I also think Betsy is horribly miscast in this show and her voice does not fit the role at all. If she wasn't in it, I'd be there with no hesitation.
Went to the gala premiere of this for its recent revival in Melbourne, hated it. Found it super dull, and dated. Personal opinion though, I know heaps of people who love it.

I saw a lot of people bashing Noah on social media simply because he’s not Ben, which is sad. I hope Noah is holding up ok.
Shame. I've actually heard very good things about him. I can't judge based on the Macy's Parade 'performance,' since there's no actual live singing, haha.
I know it’s a bit stereotypical for someone of my age (31) to say, but Rent is the show that first showed me that musical theater could be “cool.” Now I perform at least once a year and am even on the official cast recording of the Texas Chainsaw Musical hahaha
Bought Jagged Little Pill tickets for my husband for Valentine's Day. It's previewing in Boston, directed by Diane Paulus, book by Diablo Cody. Is either going to be surprisingly good or completely terrible, haha
Just joining the conversation. Sondheim is a genius and I strongly dislike G&S. Company is my all time favorite musical. Book of Mormon is my fav contemporary musical. Hamilton was good but I prefer In The Heights TBQH. HOT TAKES!
