One time I was waiting in line at the post office and a lady's phone behind me started ringing and her ringtone was the "5 dollar foot long" Subway jingle.
You know what I hate? When artists don’t capitalize words in their song titles properly on streaming lol I shouldn’t care so much, but I do. And I fix them all
Yeah I remember thinking it was kinda funny like a decade ago when I first saw someone do it, but now it's just annoying
Honestly, stylizing titles in dumb ways like that doesn’t bother me nearly as much as people just not knowing words like “the” and “of” etc in the middle of titles shouldn’t be capitalized lol
I know they shouldn't, but I think it looks better if they are, so that's how I have it in my library
I need a band for a song - The video had a Marilyn Monroe look a like, I think the song title had 'California' in it, and I thought the band was Wild Life, or something like that - going to California, maybe.... Argh!
If you are looking for non-algorithmic recommendations, there's a pretty cool website that let's you explore musical influence between artists, like who is musically closer to each other, and let's you discover new music based on those you like! https://stell-r.com
What are some albums from your youth that you looooved and that still hold a special place in your heart, but you’ve always felt like you were the only one that knew how great they were? For me, the ones that are coming to mind are: Jimmie’s Chicken Shack - Bring Your Own Stereo Lit - A Place In The Sun Dynamite Hack - Superfast I owned all 3 of those albums on CD (still have em all) and I LOVED them, pretty much front to back. But I always felt like I was the only person that knew songs other than their singles.
I'm there with you on Jimmie and Lit, don't worry. I could sing you both albums front to back any day
