What the hell are there so many breaks in between shows for? They certainly have to be each doing separate shows away from this tour and / or they are going to add more dates. I know that 30STM is doing their Camp Mars in the middle of August. I used to be obessed with 30STM, they are still a band I really like but they haven't played Northeast Ohio in almost six years which is crazy because when they where blowing up they played here every few months. Granted, they slowed down touring for the last few years and a lot of it has been overseas. I really want to be able to see them again sometime soon. And seeing Muse again won't hurt. I might think about road tripping to Pittsburgh for this.
Our local Alternative station has Fuzz Fest here in Scranton every summer. I could see 30STM or PVRIS being a part of that as an off date. Muse would be too big I reckon. Although they had the Weezer/PATD tour last summer so maybe I'm wrong. It's always a Sunday near the end of June.
Happy for Pvris that they are getting these awesome tours! As a fan though I obviously prefer them in a club setting for money reasons and because these types of shows feel so impersonal because they are such huge venues. But I'm pretty sure this will be similar to last year. They'll do a huge arena tour and then come back with a headline or direct support tour shortly after
I think some of that might have to do with them being much bigger overseas and the fact that they're always going to put Jared's acting first before the band
Awesome to see Pvris on this. Muse rarely misses Montreal but they were just here a year ago. I could see this hitting Osheaga or on 7/20.
Yeah, I know that they are bigger overseas than they are here. But it just happened so drastically. When they where touring behind A Beautiful Lie they really did not stop and just kept touring. It was crazy. On the acting and Jared had told me this self: the band is his number one passion and has been for a long time, for a while it didn't seem like he'd ever act again. But he won an Oscar, which was well deserved. Looking at his filmography since they broke out he's only been in three films since they blew up in 2006-2007: Mr. Nobody, Dallas Buyers Club and Suicide Squad. And Nobody was filming before things got really crazy. Currently he has two movies that are coming out this year that he filmed in the later parts of last year, the band took most of last year off the road to write and record. So who knows really. Lol.
I'm hoping we get something. They got the deluxe edition out of the way so I'm hoping for at least a single. Maybe we'll get some info soon.
The label would be REAL stupid to have them go out on a tour of this magnitude and not have an album to drop.
Hoping for an Orlando off date for PVRIS before or after the 2 FL shows on the tour. I want to try to go to the West Palm date as well.
PVRIS has to be one of the bigger names on Rise Records now. Obviously, Five Finger Death Punch and Of Mice & Men are bigger.
This is very tempting but too bad there is only one Canadian date and it's in TO. Wish there was something in Syracuse, Rochester or somewhere in upstate NY. I much prefer Montreal over Toronto.
as someone who lives just outside Toronto...no doubt Montreal is better (though granted I haven't seen an indoor show in Montreal just yet)
Haha I love this. You should catch a show at Metropolis when you get the chance, probably my favourite venue in the world.
