I feel like this song never really delivered a payoff buildup/chorus on first listen. It swells a bit but never really leads to anything. Still looking forward to whatever they do for this album.
So U2-ish sounding. If the whole album is this style I might be okay with it. They keep trying to balance their newer pop style with their old style, not a fan of that.
