Eh, not really feeling this one. Never been a fan of their synthy stuff.

"Wandering" is cool though.

My vinyl came today, too!

 

Gave this a listen just now. Really great late-night summertime album. A bit slower and darker than I expected, but it is their "last" album so I guess that shouldn't be surprising. The opener and closer are both fantastic.

 

The end of Black Velvet Cloak blew my mind.

Really enjoying this. The interplay of the strings and synth on "Lose You" is really awesome and parts of that song feel like they could fit on that last Acceptance album.

 

There’s a couple bonus tracks on the extra vinyl (it’s on band camp too, dunno if you have to buy the vinyl to unlock it or something), that i feel pretty strongly belong on the main album , especially “between the egg & the dart”. But this is great and parts make me real sad.

 

No matter now is so good. Def my favorite on the album
