this album is gonna be awesome

 

I would love for them to make a whole record together. Both collaborations are a high point in both their discographies. They push each other’s sound into interesting directions.

I do like it though, and it makes me excited how different the 4 songs are, this album is going to be all over the place and I am here for it

 

I think the album is out Friday

 

The first half of Teenage Headache Dreams reminds me so much Bombay Bicycle Club, especially the bassline

This is up there as one of my favourite singles from this thing, I can't wait for Friday omg

Mura Masa’s track-by-track guide to his new album, R.Y.C.

 

New record is pretty solid. My favourites are the ones with the guests I like (slowthai, Clairo, Tirzah, Georgia) but I find the stuff where he does the vocals kinda fascinating

 

I really enjoyed this. I've only listened a little bit in the past so I didn't have any expectations and it turned out to be a nice little surprise today.

 

Liked this a lot more than I was expecting to honestly. Didn’t hate the singles but couldn’t really get a feel for what the album was gonna be like, hearing it in full I bopped the whole way through

 

I’m kind of perplexed about what he was going for on this album. I absolutely adore In My Mind, but everything else seems kind of...nebulous? As if it doesn’t have a specific direction? I’ll, Ill listen to it more to see if If it clicks conceptually

 

I gotta admit that this album is not what I expected it to be... but I definitely enjoyed it overall, gonna need a few more listens to get more into it though as I was kinda surprised during my first listen haha. Way more lowkey than expected, some really interesting stuff on here
